I stayed at the Irene apartments, September 4th to 11th.Really pleased with all aspects of my stay. really enjoyed AG, fabulous restaurants, my favourite being Sea Breeze, however Sebastians, Lindas, Thalasas are also very good.My issue is with the so called boardwalk at the beach. I am 70 and found it really unstable. I looks and feels like a temporary structure, this and the chaos at the airport will stop me returning to Corfu.A real shame as I enjoyed my holiday.

HI, Im coming to visit Agios Gordios next week for a short holiday with my family and I was wondering if there was any places that I should visit or any restaurants that I should eat at. Any help would be appreciated, I can't wait!

Hi. My husband and I are visiting Agios Gordios from 17th - 24th April. We've loved the bay ever since we visited the first time, four years ago. However, I am now a bit worried that nothing will be open - is the supermarket always open, or does it just cater for the main tourist season? Also, will there be any tavernas open at this time? We could not have travelled any later this spring, so just hope that we will at least be able to eat! Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would like to know how the situation is at the moment at Agios Gordios or Corfu.

Sorry for the very slow reply to your question. Everything in Agios Gordios is fine. Shops are fully stocked, in fact it is business as usual. The ATM's in the village are re-filled on a regular basis. Just about all locations prefer cash to debit or credit cards. Very soon I will be returning to the resort.

Counting the days before we can return for a couple of weeks in beautiful Agios Gordios ...... can't wait!!! We considered going somewhere other than Greece, where we've been holidaying every year since '82!, but our hearts wouldn't let us! Agios Gordios is one of our favourite places, is only 1/2 hour from the airport, & is a good starting point to go out to explore the rest of this gorgeous island (so many photo opportunities along any of the routes, too). A genuine welcome is always guaranteed wherever you go, & friends are easily made there. We sometimes wonder WHY they remember us so well? ;) We've stayed at several different studios/apartments in A. G., & this time, we've booked into Maria Stella's, right on the lovely beach (great sunset views, ideal for all those sundowners!). Happy days! cool

smile I would like to thank all locations in the resort, be they on this website or not for making my visit to the resort so enjoyable. In particular, I would like to thank Dr Gilanis for his excellent service after my fall. I will return next year as I am sure so many other visitors to the resort will. To use the local word for good service. BRAVO !!!
