Sinarades village is found on the foothill of a verdurous mountain just 2 Km above Agios Gordios.

The village maintains its traditional style and way of life for over 400 years now and has a local union which organizes many traditional activities.

The famous Historic folklore museum of Sinarades was established in 1982 by the Historical-Folklore Society of Corfu and attracts many tourists from all over the island of Corfu. The museum exhibits items from the period 1860-1960.
