One of the most unforgettable experiences in someone’s life is getting to know the underwater world. It is sure that even if you are not a good swimmer but just a sea lover a dive in shallow or deep waters will probably bond you with the beauty of the underwater wealth forever.

Calypso diving center operates on the beach of Agios Gordios offering a variety of programs and all the equipment needed for the professionals as well as the beginners who wish to try that marvelous sport.

The scenery above the water foretells what you will encounter below the surface. Underwater the rugged coastline continues, producing pinnacles, caves, swim-throughs and drop-offs, which, coupled with excellent visibility, warm water and a variety of marine life gives excellent, exciting dive sites just a boat ride away.

The diving season runs from May to October and during this period diving takes place seven days a week. Calypso professional Divemasters will take you on a two-dive day trip, or single dives in the morning and afternoon. Each day the schedule is posted at the diving center. All dives have a guide who will brief you and show the highlights of each site. Most dives are multilevel to extend your bottom time safely. The less enjoyable tasks involved in diving are made easier with kitting-up areas, fresh water rinse tanks, drying areas and secure storage facilities.
